Blog Post #20- Shooting We have finished filming, so there is no remaining shooting schedule. All that's left to do is edit the film and put in our title sequence. Our sound and video is fine as we recorded it on a phone with no problems. We did need reshoots but only in the moment. We had multiple takes for every scene and chose the one that went the best for each. This is a scene from the longest part of our film, which is mostly building tension. This is a behind the scenes shot from the previous photo This is another part of our film at a different angle. This is another angle from the scene shown before.

Blog Post #19- Challenges of Filming During our filming, we did face a couple problems. Since our scene needed to be filmed in the dark but we met during the day. We needed to block out all sources of lights in the room, which required us to close blinds, shutters, and small windows. Another challenge was actually planning to meet up and film which we were able to do. We handled the challenges well, being able to cover everything and film what we needed. Everyone was pulling their weight as we had multiple roles in the film and a cameraman. Our filming process went very well with minimal roadblocks.

Blog Post #18- Costuming A majority of our characters will be wearing civilian clothing as we don’t have any supernatural or ionic characters that would require their own design or costume. The evil character, the kidnapper will be wearing all black to add to the horror element. The civilian clothing will show the audience that these are normal people going through everyday life until it changes drastically. The killer will be mysterious, never showing their face acting as a sort of shadow who simply carries out the order given to them. Props will include a pillowcase, some sort of fake weapon, and a laptop.
Blog Post #17- Preparing to Film Actors- Myself, Steven, and Will Will is going to be the victim of the film, most likely having the most screen time. Steven will be the henchmen of the villain who is me. Angel will be our director with no screen time. Costumes- The clothes in the film will probably be what we wear that day, with the exception of the killer, who will be in all black to fit the ambiance. Props- The props will be a laptop, a pillowcase, a NERF Blaster, and our friend Nigel. Location- Our main filming location will be Wills house, and his shed. Dates And Times- The times will be whenever we are all free and able to film. Film Equipment- Since we don't have any actual equipment we will just be using a phone to record.

Blog Post #16- Film Opening Mood Board  In this mood board, I am trying to capture the feeling of dread and insecurity while detailing the other aspects of our movie. The concept of  our opener is based around the game Wordle, so I had to put hat on there. We have chosen this feeling for our film because it seems like the most fun to film.
Blog Post #15- 2/6/23 Movie Opener Brainstorming & Research 1. Rise For this movie opener, it was very structured and well put together. One feature I thought was very interesting was syncing the music to the actions. I dont know if we will put something like this in our film but it was interesting nonetheless.  2. Link did not work. 3. Dear Lover  The structure of this video was very well done, as it provides context then goes backwards. The camerawork and ambient shots at the beginning were very well done. 4. Dare to Thrill The genre for this one is more what we were aiming for, with the horror aspect at the end. The music playing all throughout the run time was not something I was a fan of, so we wont implement that. 5. Always Watching I was not a fan of this one. The editing was fine but the fact it only went between 2-3 settings was a bit plain. In terms of the genre, it is similar to ours with the thriller aspect. 6. Blue Boar This opening was very simple, yet ...

Blog Post #14- 2/1/23 Storyboard This is our vision for the opening of our movie. The credits should last for about 30 seconds and the rest will be me cinematic. It gives subtle exposition, such as setting and time of day. We plan to use quick and separate shots to add onto the feeling of suspense and horror. Things like music will be implemented to bring out the ambiance. My role in the movie will be cameraman and I will implement different shots to really give the viewer the feeling of being in the movie.
