Blog Critique 

1. I critiqued Angel's blog first. The presentation was very professional and simple. The videos were short and captured the assignment. The camerawork was a bit shaky and all of the shots with John in them made me uncomfortable as I'm sure was the purpose. There was a slight comedic element to a majority of the videos, which I enjoyed.

2. Similar to Angel's blog, is is very well organized and simplistic. We used similar videos, so I can describe the process that most were made in and the feelings they gave me. His videos seem to have more of a comedic focus, which is nice. The setting was very bright, which helped give the videos a very lighthearted feel to them. One flaw I noticed was a lack of detail as to how the video were made.

 Blog Post #7- 10/24/22 Mood Board Project The genre I chose for my mood board is horror. Given the time of year, it felt only fitting. The recipe for most modern and old horror movies consists of a dark, gritty setting with less than dependable characters and of course a formidable threat, in the form of an angry spirit or an axe wielding maniac. Locations can vary significantly, with some settings including a city or entire state, and some confined to a few rooms in a house. A very good example of this is a movie I saw recently, "The Black Phone". The location for the movie is Wilmington, North Carolina. Despite this, the setting of the movie is mostly a small room holding the main protagonist as he deals with the insanity of the villain.  Blog Entry #1- 8/20/22 My name is Adam Da Silva. I am a junior at Hollywood Hills High School. I am taking this class as a part of the Cambridge program at my school, in hopes to gain a free ride scholarship. In terms of what I hope to get out of this class, I hope to learn about different techniques in regards to film creation, camera terms such as panning and zooming, and other things related to technology.

 Blog Post #19- Challenges of Filming During our filming, we did face a couple problems. Since our scene needed to be filmed in the dark but we met during the day. We needed to block out all sources of lights in the room, which required us to close blinds, shutters, and small windows. Another challenge was actually planning to meet up and film which we were able to do. We handled the challenges well, being able to cover everything and film what we needed. Everyone was pulling their weight as we had multiple roles in the film and a cameraman. Our filming process went very well with minimal roadblocks.
